Welcome again to another edition of our Throwback Series! If you wanted to get married during the winter, hoping that you’d have a snowy day to celebrate and, be photographed on… Typically, you’d think that planning your day for early February in Michigan would be a safe bet. Well, mother nature had other plans and plainly said: Not this year! This had been probably one of the most snow devoid winters in my memory. Alas, so it was not meant to be. A couple of weeks ago, Jeff and I had the great honor of photographing, and performing, the marriage between our cousin Rebecca, and her fiance, Kyle. You may be wondering, “Wait, aren’t you guys just photographers?” Yes we are, however, I (Jess), am also ordained in the State of Michigan (by the American Marriage Ministries) to perform marriages.
