As you may have noticed last week, we’re coming back now, to our long lost blog… After a long absence! However, we are going to be taking a different approach in the content we will be presenting to you. While we still will be posting some of our favorite family and wedding projects, we are also going to concentrate quite a bit more on other areas of photography that we are passionate about. This will give you a bit of a chance to really see what we’re all about, and give us a chance to show off some of our more favorite personal projects, including the ever fantastical Porcupine Mountains.
Why You Absolutely Need a Generational Legacy
Having a Generational Legacy is, in my mind, of the utmost importance. Life is beyond short. It is filled with plenty of up and down moments, much like a roller coaster, speeding through the years slowly building up to the highs and crashing down to the lows. As we travel on our own adventures we will meet new people, intertwining our lives together in friendship and love. Inevitably, we will also sometimes lose those closest to us. As we continue along on our journeys through this digital age of life, people are disconnecting more than ever before. . . even in the face of all the newer technology around us that attempts to connect us in ways never dreamed of before.
Heritage Park Taylor Children’s Portraits
In our line of work as photographers (and… it’s still difficult to call photography, work, really) we get to capture so many precious moments and wonderful, captivating people in life. Today, I’d like to tell you a bit about these two sweet and beautiful sisters who we have been watching grow up for the past year. Every six months we look forward to our bi-annual photo-shoot with these two, and yesterday for the first time, the weather cooperated and we were able to finally enjoy the outdoors together!
Family Photo Shoot at the Henry Ford in Dearborn
So, we are a little behind in posting to our blog… Our apologies! However, today we have a little something special for you to peruse…
Back in the not-so-sunny month of June, we had a fantastic time sharing a truly special experience with these adorable sisters. This photo shoot of these little angels was to take place at Greenfield Village. However the weather had other plans for us, so we had to alter our strategy and stroll inside the venerable Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The mother and father wanted photos of their two precious and personable little girls playing and exploring the history and art. These two photographers were more than happy to oblige! If you’d like to see some of the over the top cuteness that occurred here during this photo shoot, we invite you to keep reading!
Engagement Shoot at Stepping Stones Park, Flint, MI
One of our engagement sessions required us to take a trip to Flint, Michigan. And while Flint gets a stereotypical “bad city” reputation, we are pleased to share the beauty that this amazing little park held. Don’t believe us? Take a peek at the rest of the post below!
